We recently undertook a renovation of our property to extend. We had a vision of what we desired, but wanted to ensure that the renovation work performed was of a superior build and finish. We had seen many renovations in the past, however could see that the final builds varied massively in terms of quality and finish. Whilst we wanted a larger, covered and secured space to enjoy as a family, we also wanted to ensure that the final product complimented the existing house and would also add value to our property. Geoff from Jefferson Building was recommended to us from one of our family members, as they had seen the renovation work he and his company had done on a property adjacent from them. We went and saw this property and were impressed at the quality of the finish. Accordingly we reached out to Geoff and asked him to look our renovation plans. From the outset we felt that Geoff was the builder to perform the work, as he was quick to respond and transparent in his costings. Not to mention that Geoff is a genuinely good bloke. He also suggested some changes to our plans based on his extensive knowledge of building to ensure that the final build was top notch. Throughout the renovation process he kept us informed on progress and kept the work site immaculately clean, which was much appreciated given we have young children. Our renovation was completed within the timeframe Geoff had indicated and the final end product was amazing, with the finish and quality absolutely stunning. I recommend looking at some of the pictures of our finish, so you can see for yourself. Renovations can be stressful and expensive, with no guarantee of the final product. However, Geoff made the whole process easy, delivered an amazing project and was within our agreed budget. If I could change anything, I would have had Geoff involved in the initial design phase. We would highly recommend Geoff and his team of builders to anyone looking to renovate or build.

We engaged Geoff @ Jefferson Building/Simple Haus to build our new home on the central coast, the site was sloping + bushfire, coastal and easement affected. Many builders were not even interested to discuss our requirements after that. Fortunately Geoff's easy going attitude found no obstacle in this and assisted hugely in the design process to ensure we could achieve the best result possible within our budget. What we received exceeded our initial expectation thanks to Geoff's unique spacial design ideas .In the end we had a custom built home within our timeframe and budget that we proudly let everyone know achieved the recognition for HIA's custom built home the year.
